There are many reasons why teenagers abuse drugs. Some get into illicit drugs because of their inability to cope with personal or family problems. Others get into this because of peer influences. Others simply want to feel good about themselves, claiming that they are in control because of the high that these drugs provide. Yet, there is one interesting story, and this can be common among teenagers. They use or get into drugs because they want to look good. The common drug that these teenagers use to make them look and feel better is called anabolic steroids. In some cases, this is also called anabolic-androgenic steroids. There are many trade names of anabolic-androgenic steroids in the market today. Common names include, Anadur, Dianabol, Winstrol, Equipoise, Deca-Durabolin, and many others. Most of the times, athletes use steroids to perform well during their games. Sometimes it can also be used to enhance muscle mass as well.

When teenagers use this constantly, it could lead them to advanced maturation in the physical sense. It could lead to infertility, baldness, and stunted growth.

Without proper teenage awareness, those teenagers who want to feel good buy steroids easily and still claim that he is not doing something bad. He would say that he doesn’t feel high and just wants to look better. However, if he is really going to use it constantly, he would see for himself that there are indeed negative effects of the drug abuse. Unfortunately, regrets usually come in late.
