The professional sporting scenario is highly competitive and this has given rise to numerous under the belt practices which are considered both unethical as well as illegal. The Anti Doping Organization

The role of the anti doping organization is to analyze and then decide which all substances are to be included in the anti doping list. After having decided on the substances, the next step is to ensure that the rules are formulated in the appropriate manner. Of the various organization involved in this squad, the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympics Committee, the World Anti Doping Agency and the National Anti-Doping Organizations play a major role in enforcing and executing these policies.

The Rule Violations

# The non-availability of an athlete during the course of non-competitive testing. It may be possible that the athlete may out rightly refuse to appear for a dope related examination.
# A deliberate attempt to tamper or the attempted tampering of the dope material.
# Illegal possession of any prohibited substance.
# The administration or attempted administration of any prohibited substance which may help or aid a performing athlete to improve his/her overall performance in an illegal manner.

The Role Of A Support Personnel

The coach or trainer or even the manager of an athlete is termed as a support personnel. It is the duty of the support personnel to ensure that the athlete is made aware of the correct practices and kept away from administering unethical substances.
