Most Common Toxic Materials & Their Effects in Our Body
You probably have heard about body detoxification and the need for detoxifying every now and then. This is true scientifically because our body accumulates toxins every now and then. In the world we live in, there is nothing pure anymore. There is pollution every where. Then there is the food we eat, which are considered junk or with low nutritional value. Even if we live in the most remote areas, our body is not free and safe from toxins that may harm our health
To exactly pinpoint the toxic materials in our body, here is the list of the most common one:
• Free radicals - These are toxins that we take from the air we breathe.
• Unwanted substance – Usually we take these from eating junk foods or synthesized food rather than organic and natural ones. Unwanted substance may also be found in the water we drink directly from faucets.
• Fertilizers – We may be unaware but most of our plant foods have fertilizers on it. Since we take in the food (especially raw food) we take in the fertilizer with it. Fertilizers may include pesticides and herbicides.
• Smoking cigarette – Smoking is definitely not a good vice. It produces toxins that damage not just the lungs but many organs in our body.
• Solvents – We may smell paints, thinners, and other solvents that are harmful to our body.
These are only a few of the toxins that we may be exposed to everyday. The fact is that our body does not need these. In fact, they are harmful to our body. The good thing about our bodies is that nature has its way of fighting these toxins. It is then important that we take care of our body and boost our immune systems that fight out these unwanted materials.
Effects of Toxic Materials
The toxic materials that we are exposed to everyday whether consciously and unconsciously are stored in our bodies. Studies have shown that our body stores about 400 to 800 toxic materials. They accumulate in our cells and our major organs. The major organs that are affected with these toxins are the liver, kidneys, brain, and some of our glands like the adrenal and thyroid.
The fertilizers in our body can be accumulated in our tissues and bones. Other substances may be stored up in the brain and thyroids glands. Studies have further showed that a typical person, even those who live in the most remote areas in the world, has about 40 to 70 chemical residues found in their tissues.
With these unwanted toxins stored in our bodies, we may be hampered from utilizing or taking the minerals that would help us function normally. Common diseases brought about by body toxins are nutritional deficiencies, brain chemistry damages, imbalances of hormones, autoimmune deficiency, enzyme dysfunction, neurological disorder, and chronic disorders.
It is then important, that we take nutritional supplements and detoxify our body every now and then. Certain therapy will also help our body to get rid of the toxins and improve our immune system and body functions for wellness.
